Heather, I pray God's peace for you on this day. May He give you the grace to make it through another painful day. Time marches on and we lack the power to even so much as stall it for a few minutes while we adjust our hearts and minds. I lost a nephew (18 years old) this week. Also, certainly not of the same magnitude, I buried my cat yesterday evening just after dark. Today I will attend the funeral of a very dear friend and try to move on into tomorrow. This life hurts but we are given the privilege of standing for God even amidst our sorrows. I ask for God's grace on us both, that He will give us the strength to carry on. I have placed a special prayer for you on our Lord's heavenly altar. I pray for grace and peace. --Marj
