I have had two websites and domain names through Go Daddy. But, I found out recently that the company has decided to promote overtly sexual behavior and porn through their commercials.
I found this out through a friend who works in the industry. I went to the website and I was shocked. I have really enjoyed working with Go Daddy but I have decided to take steps to close my websites and ultimately lose my domain names. Not a fun decision but one that had to be made.
I called Go Daddy to let them know of my decision. I am sure that one voice is not going to change the world but I have to, for my own conscience, not be affiliated with this company.
I wanted to post this so that we can all be aware and not use this company. There are other options out there that choose to not promote their business in such immoral ways.
