O-kay, wow, two posts in one day! Actually I have many other posts that I would like to post but I will hold them for a day when I can't think of anything to say.
So, about our right to homeschool...The Govenor of our great state has spoken:
"Every California child deserves a quality education and parents should have the right to decide what’s best for their children. Parents should not be penalized for acting in the best interests of their children's education. This outrageous ruling must be overturned by the courts and if the courts don't protect parents' rights then, as elected officials, we will.”
Keep praying and please, if you feel that homeschooling should stay a constitutional parental right, sign the petition. You need not homeschool or be a part of Homeschool Legal Defense Fund to sign.
As a side note, I believe that my comment on the Presidential race might have come across the wrong way. We will vote (I will have three voters in my home this next November!) and I continue to pray for the leaders of our land. Our court system needs incredible changes and our elected officials are the ones whom we must lean on to make these changes. (personally I have no confidence in any of the three candidates to make these changes but we can still hope and pray). I am usually much more involved in the process and this year just do not have the energy nor the will. I just wanted to make sure that you all knew that I am not blindly sitting by and watching the political world go by... I just find my mind preoccupied.

Heather,
Thank you so much for keeping everyone updated on such an important issue. I receive emails from One News Now and that is where I first heard about this court ruling. Then this morning I received an email from Veritas Press with a link to sign the petition which I did immediately. I also homeschool and will do everything I can to stand up for it. Now about the political race it is very hard to want to be involved due to the three candidates that are running. There are two for sure that I don't want to vote for and the other I don't care for either. I am just in continual prayer about it. Nothing is possible on our own but everything is possible through Christ. Keep your chin up and your eyes on our Heavenly Father. We will continue to keep you and your beautiful family in our prayers.

Of course you're preoccupied dearest. And there really seems like nothing to be "excited" about at this point anyway except keeping people out of office.
Glad to hear about Arnold's comment, hope he means it :)
Still praying for you all
Christine
we are continuing to pray for you I just won't be leaving comments (broke my wrist) for a while. God is giving you such strength and we praise Him for answering our prayers.
