Wall*e

On another note, this movie was too cute in the romance department also.  Wall*e wants to hold the girls hand as a sign of affection.  I actually teared up because I remember well how I loved to hold Eric's hand.  I could only hold two of his fingers (his two middle ones) because his hands were so big.  As I watched the sweet scene of the two robots finally holding hands I was thrilled to see that the producers went down this route rather than the kissing theme they could have used.  It was sweet, romantic, and yet so proper for the kiddos.

Heather how lovely to hear of how the Lord blessed you as a family for Brown Sugar's birthday. What a good God we have who gives us tokens of kindness and encouragement in the midst of our sorrows that we faint not nor are overwhelmed. How He comes to relieve our weary souls in the most unexpected ways! "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God". Psalm 20:7
Continuing to think and pray for you often.

We have a mutual friend, Jen Hereford, that sent me a link to your Wall-e post as I just posted my thoughts on that most wonderful movie on my blog!! I totally agree with you!!

God gave us this beautiful earth and we need to not keep doing the "easy thing" and need to step up and do what we each can to protect it.

Thanks for your post! And I love your song list! It's playing as I clean the kitchen!

Hi - My friend Jen sent me your website because of your Wall-e post but it has turned into an entire morning of listening to your music and reading your story of Eric. You are truly amazing - as you embrace your Savior in this time. Because you are looking to HIM as GOOD, God will work this situation out in your life and the lives of your children to be beautiful and not bitter. THose that don't look to their creator become so bitter, but this will somehow make you better

I have definitely cried this morning as I read your precious and real emotional posts. I am sure, like you say, that Eric is looking down at you as your number one cheerleader, cheering you on: You can do this girl!

Blessings to you.
with love,
Julie

davis family- we continue to pray for you. today we were able to send your site link to this family (mother and four sons): http://www.caringbridge.org/mn/bryceb/history.htm
who just lost their dad/husband on saturday at age 37 to a heart attack. 17 months ago they lost one of their sons to cancer. And yet, looking to Christ just as you have. Your testimony is reaching out and ministering to those who are also grieving the great loss of losing a loved one. thank you for putting your experience to blog form.
