Eleven Months

We have lived without Eric for eleven months now. There have been times where I thought we would not make it...but we have. The Lord is good.
The green pastures are so sweet that He leads us by...His rod and staff are a comfort as He takes us to places we would never have walked on our own.
Goodness and mercy are definitely following us.
Thank you for visiting with us on this journey.

I don't post often but check frequently. It is evident that the grace of the Lord continues to carry you and your children...thanks for sharing your journey. I have 2 friends walking a similar path and your posts have been so helpful as I seek to pray for and encourage them.
Blessings,

Looks and sounds like you and yours had a wonderful Christmas. We too! (Or is it "us too"?) I got everything I wanted and then some. I still have the gift certificates to run through so if I don't get every single thing I had wanted it will be my own fault.

I'm sorry your Christmas is saturated with grief. I can't believe it's been almost a year since Eric departed. God has done wonders to heal you during these months and I'm exceedingly grateful for that.

Better get back to my cleaning. We have company coming tomorrow for a few days because of the New Year's holiday. Don't know why I bother to clean it always looks like a tornado tore through the house within 30 mins of their arrival. Oh well, they're family. Heather, I hope you have a wonderful new year. May friends, fun, and family be everything you need it to be.
