A Busy Life

So, haven't heard from me in awhile? Maybe because my life became busy again. This time it was all due to the wedding of Becca and Peter.
The week before we had storm after storm send down bucket loads of rain on our valley. May 1st can be tricky but we were hopeful that the sun would shine and shine it did. It was such a beautiful day!
I don't have all the pictures yet but I just wanted to give you a taste of my daughter's big day.
The whole experience was heart wrenching and yet lovely at the same time.
I could barely get down the aisle without a few tears running down my face. But, when I saw Becca walk down the aisle I couldn't help but be happy and yet very sad at the same time.

Becca is such a creative young lady. She loves yellow and red. Her colors were those along with orange. It was a beautifully bright wedding. There were some glitches that I will talk about later but the event happened without anyone knowing about the drama behind the scenes.
(By the way, the photo above makes me look like I am shorter than my daughter...too funny, since I am at least four inches taller than her. In fact, my son is the only one who is close to my height at 5'9").

This is definately Peter and Becca's personality coming out in full bloom. They are a fun loving, happy couple who we pray will be a shining example of God's love for His own.
I promise to get back to writing...but, for now, I need to take the rest of the week to recover.

I loved that she was barefoot! One of the painful memories of our wedding - miserable feet. That and standing in the required reception line for what seemed like hours! Glad that's a thing of the past. Also loved the Gerbera daisy colors here and at the reception.
