I'm Back!

Sweet Pea is almost four months and so it is time to get back to writing.
I have probably lost most of the readers of this blog during my hiatus but for those of you who are die hard readers and for future generations, I will carry on.

My brain has been barely functioning as I have tried to make it through each day without the amount of sleep that is usually warranted.
But, this past week baby has been kind to me and has been sleeping for longer intervals...
now the catch up begins!
In between naps and daily chores I will try to get some posts written for future dates and
Miss M has decided to join me in writing a few posts as well.

The past few months have been some what of a blur for me but I will say that I have spent a lot of time just enjoying our precious gift. I have spent a lot of hours holding, cuddling, and kissing this little blessing. I have also had my moments of frustration as I have struggled with the inability to get everything done that I use to be able to accomplish before baby. But, it has forced me to work up a new schedule and come up with new ideas that will enable our unique family and household to run smoothly.
I don't have it all together but I think that I have found (because I never have an original idea of my own!) some pretty helpful ideas that I would love to share with you.

I also have some hard words that I need to write.
It has been three and a half years since Eric's death and although I still find myself dealing with certain issues, whether financial or emotional, I think I have come to a place in my grief that I can share with those who are grieving what I have gone through.

So, for those of you readers who are left I hope you will continue to find encouragement through this blog and through our lives.

I'll take your word for it that Sweet Pea is 4 months old. I don't see any pics to prove it!!
Cardinal sin: blogging about a baby and not posting any pics.

So glad you are back and am looking forward to what ideas you have. It will be neat to hear from your daughter as well. Our daughter is also 4 months, so I know exactly where you are coming from (she is #9, so things are hopping here).

As mommy to eight and number eight coming at my age of 45, I am right there with you! It is hard, but it is sweet! And the cuddling much easier to do when number one; you are tired and number two; you are old! Cuddle away sweet Mommy! And don't worry about followers, those of us that love you are still here :) Give beautiful Sweet Pea a hug from me! And you will have heaps of fun when she turns two!
