There is a Doctor in the House!

Our Spring has turned out to be as busy as I thought it might be.
We have been on the road quite a bit...
In fact, by the end of June we will have stayed in eleven hotels!
This is Miss M's last year of debate and speech.
We told her we would try to get to as many tournaments as possible.
She is having a wonderful year debating the resolution at hand and working on her
extemporaneous and interpretation skills.
We will be headed to Nationals in Colorado Springs this June because
she is qualified for all her events.
Congrats Miss M!

We also needed to make a trip down south with Phil to
Claremont Graduate University where he was able to defend
the dissertation he finished this past January.
It took a year to write his almost 400 page book.
He was successful and so we are now able to call him...
Dr. Phil Olsson!
He has an area in his dissertation (his Aquinas chapter) that needs some revision
but otherwise has been given the distinct honor of being awarded his PhD.
The robe is being ordered for graduation and we are making preparations for
a grand celebration with family and friends.

The rest of us are just getting older (and hopefully wiser).
We are learning to live and love together.
