The Beauty of the Covenant

J and Brown Sugar were baptized a week ago.
It was a wonderful morning. We dressed in the African outfits that Hubbie brought back from Liberia and caught the eye of all in our congregation. It's not every day you see bright colored embroidered gowns with colorful head-coverings.
But, the best part of this Lord's day was watching our son and daughter being baptized into our covenant home.
We were blessed to have Hubbie's parents and dear friends from Canada here to celebrate. In fact, I think that most of the families of our church were there today. What a blessing to have so many witness such a special event in our lives.
Our pastor reminded the congregation how J and Brown Sugar are a wonderful reminder of our adoption into a bigger Covenant.

It has taken me a while to write because we have had many, many guests in our home over the past week. So, I have been a bit busy. But, as for today, Hubbie left for Navy duties today and the rest of our guests are finding their way back home.
