Six Months

Morro Bay Sand Dunes
Catching the drops in Zion National Park
Hiking with the kids in the wilderness
20 years together
Celebrating Eric's 40th birthday
Eric in Liberia with Little Cowboy and Brown Sugar
Fun with the kids at Spirit Lake
On board the USS Stennis enjoying his "hobby"

I woke up thinking about how I will never see Eric again this side of heaven....and the tears just start streaming down my face. Oh, how I miss his smile, his arm around me, how he held my hand, his kiss, his energy.
Thank you Lord for giving me twenty-two years with this incredible man.

It's hard to believe that six months have gone by...until I look at wee Grace trying to crawl! It's been a privilege to walk by your side these past six months. I love you and am praying for all of you today!

These pictures are wonderful. Thank you for posting them. They really capture how full every moment of Eric's life was. And, though there are no pictures, we know that his life now is even more full.

I still pray for you often. May God fill the emptiness in your life.

Heather & grandchildren
Thanks for posting the pictures of Eric. What a great family, what a great life.
We also have many fond memories (forever) of family camping, biking, backpacking, hanging out, day trips.
I know God has great things in His time awaiting you Heather.
Love you so very much

Heather, six month is hard. So is seven months, eight months, a year. You will get through this. It just doesn't "feel" like it right now. I am so sorry for your loss and wish there were something I could do to give it all back to you. It's obvious you miss him so much. You had a great marriage and created a great family. Death cannot steal your memories, Heather. Thanks for the pictures, it was a nice tribute to a wonderful man. I didn't know him but you've made him appear alive over these past six months. Thanks for sharing your journey.

I remember the 6 month mark for us. it hit right on mothers day witch made it even harder. I know you guys will pull though this. God is and will always be there! God must really Love you guys to be bringing you though something like this, to bring you closer to him. it would have been my moms 40th birthday this coming August 9th that is the day we will be leaving for the father son retreat I don't know if it will be busy enough to not cry or really hard.(?) just a few days after the 9th it will mark 9 months (the 11th) for us.
I hope you guys know that we love you so much and still pray for you daily. I know there is still so much prayer needed. sometimes I feel like everybody is forgetting what happened even though I know they know, they still do not think about it as much, and like I do. as hard as this has been and still is I thank God for bringing our family through this. it is only making our family stronger and closer to each other and to him!
I love you guys so much and will be praying for you. Hope this week goes really good (or fantabulaus) :)
ttfn,
Elisa
